שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת, לְדָוִד:
יְהוָה, לֹא-גָבַהּ לִבִּי-- וְלֹא-רָמוּ עֵינַי;
וְלֹא-הִלַּכְתִּי, בִּגְדֹלוֹת וּבְנִפְלָאוֹת מִמֶּנִּי.

neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me.

אִם-לֹא שִׁוִּיתִי, וְדוֹמַמְתִּי-- נַפְשִׁי:
כְּגָמֻל, עֲלֵי אִמּוֹ; כַּגָּמֻל עָלַי נַפְשִׁי.

Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;

like a weaned child with his mother; my soul is with me like a weaned child.

יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֶל-יְהוָה-- מֵעַתָּה, וְעַד-עוֹלָם.
