שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה, שִׁיר חָדָשׁ; תְּהִלָּתוֹ, בִּקְהַל חֲסִידִים.

Sing unto YAHOWAH a new song, and His praise in the assembly of the saints.

ב
יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֹשָׂיו; בְּנֵי-צִיּוֹן, יָגִילוּ בְמַלְכָּם.
|

Let Yisrael rejoice in his Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
|
|
ג
יְהַלְלוּ שְׁמוֹ בְמָחוֹל; בְּתֹף וְכִנּוֹר, יְזַמְּרוּ-לוֹ.
|
3
Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.
|

ד
כִּי-רוֹצֶה יְהוָה בְּעַמּוֹ; יְפָאֵר עֲנָוִים, בִּישׁוּעָה.
|
4
For YAHOWAH taketh pleasure in His people; He adorneth the humble with salvation.
|
|
ה
יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד; יְרַנְּנוּ, עַל-מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם.
|
5
Let the saints exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.
|
|
ו
רוֹמְמוֹת אֵל, בִּגְרוֹנָם; וְחֶרֶב פִּיפִיּוֹת בְּיָדָם.
|
6
Let the high praises of Eloheem be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
|

ז
לַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה, בַּגּוֹיִם; תּוֹכֵחוֹת, בַּלְאֻמִּים.
|
7
To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;
|

ח
לֶאְסֹר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים; וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם, בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶל.
|
8
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
|
ט
לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם, מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב-- הָדָר הוּא, לְכָל-חֲסִידָיו:
הַלְלוּ-יָהּ.

9
To execute upon them the judgment written; He is the glory of all His saints.
